This varied role combines operational co‑ordination with administrative oversight, ensuring services are delivered with professionalism, dignity and care. You will co‑ordinate day to day activities on site, support burial and interment arrangements, and act as a key point of contact for families, funeral directors and other stakeholders. Working closely with the Bereavement Services Assistant Manager, you'll help maintain accurate records, uphold health and safety and compliance standards and ensure a high quality, sensitive service for our communities.
What you will need:

- A confident communicator, you’ll build positive relationships with a wide range of people, demonstrating empathy, tact and professionalism at all times.
- You’ll be well organised, able to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records, with good IT skills across standard systems.
- Experience in bereavement or cemetery services, knowledge of relevant processes or regulations, and coordinating experience would be advantageous.
- You will either hold a bereavement management qualification or be willing to work towards one with our support.
Benefits:
- Top‑tier health and wellbeing package through Canada Life, one of the UK’s leading providers – including online access to UK‑based GPs, plus life insurance.
- Competitive, matched pension scheme through Royal London.
- Access to a wide range of support networks and wellbeing initiatives, including mental health resources and specialist counselling.
- Learning and development opportunities tailored to your role and personal goals.
