VANRATH are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor for an exciting, growing consultancy situated in Belfast.
Remuneration: £Competitive DOE + Package
The Role: The role involves all aspects of traditional quantity surveying services across professional consultancy advice and contract administration of construction projects, from inception to completion. Within the role you will be working on a variety of projects in a wide range of commercial, hospitality, education and public sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Management and development of pre-contract cost plans and estimates
- Monthly reporting on costs through development of projects
- Advising and preparation of procurement documents
- Delivering a full range of post contract cost management services
- Building relations with new and existing clients, design consultants and contractors
The Ideal Person:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
- RICS membership, chartered surveyor status or working towards full membership
- Experience in a similar quantity surveying role
- Experience in managing construction contracts and ensuring compliance in contractual obligations
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
