Kingdom Services Group is seeking a professional and reliable full-time Security Officer to join its team at the University of South Wales in Treforest (CF37), working an average of 42 hours per week on a rota basis covering both day and night shifts (07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00, Monday to Sunday).
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure university environment through regular patrols, monitoring CCTV systems, controlling access to buildings, and acting as the first point of contact for staff, students, and visitors.
You will also liaise closely with the client, complete accurate reports, and manage any incidents or challenging situations in a calm and professional manner, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all site users.
The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence and a full UK manual driving licence (as company vehicle use is required), with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional approach, while previous security experience is desirable but not essential.
