We’re looking for enthusiastic and energetic Bar Service Assistants to join our Functions & Events team at Seamill Hydro Hotel & Resort. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver warm, friendly, and professional bar service during weddings, functions, and events.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, Champagne, wines, beers, spirits, tea, and coffee.
  • Maintain high standards of drink preparation, presentation, and guest interaction at all times.
  • Confidently engage with guests, offering menu knowledge and recommendations where appropriate.
  • Keep the bar area clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout service.
  • Support the wider events team to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy functions.
  • Help create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that enhances every guest’s experience.
  • Assist with event setup, bar preparation, and close‑down procedures when required.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous bar or hospitality experience is preferred, particularly within functions, weddings, or events.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills.
  • Confident, friendly, and professional when interacting with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable experiences.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
  • Must be 18 years old or over.
