Leicester Partnership Trust is looking for a Facilities Assistant to work 15 hours per week (5pm to 8pm Monday to Friday) at Loughborough Community Hospital. The role involves providing an effective, patient‑focused facilities service, including portering, cleaning and catering. The position is part of the Soft FM Team, providing a range of duties across Trust sites to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service for patients, staff and visitors.

Main duties of the job

  • Preparation and regeneration of patient meals at ward level on a daily basis.
  • Providing a patient‑focused cleaning and domestic service, including washing linen, to meet NHS cleanliness standards in designated patient and non‑patient areas.
  • Provision of appropriate portering services, including transportation of linen cages, waste bins/carts and patient moves between reception and departments.
  • Rotating between responsibilities as required.
