Our Caledonia North team is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join their team on a full time, term time only, permanent basis. We're seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant (or similar) with experience supporting children aged 7+, or transferable life experience and a genuine passion for making a difference.

About You:

  • Recent experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar role, or bring relevant life experience with a genuine passion for supporting children aged 7+
  • Be confident supporting a pupil with additional needs, including providing personal care as required, delivered with dignity, respect, and sensitivity.
  • Have knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, the National Curriculum and approaches to supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Have experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting, or transferable experience demonstrating the relevant skill set.
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times.
  • Be proactive in maintaining and promoting high standards across all aspects of the role.
