We are looking for an experienced and passionate Baker to join the team at Panadera. This role involves preparing and baking a variety of goods including breads, pastries, and Filipino baked goods such as pandesal and ube doughnuts. You'll work closely with the head baker and kitchen team to maintain consistent quality and contribute to the innovation that defines Panadera.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake a wide range of baked goods including Filipino specialities.
- Ensure all items are baked to the highest standard in terms of taste, texture, and presentation.
- Follow recipes and production schedules precisely, while contributing to product development when required.
Dough Handling & Techniques:
- Mix, proof, shape, and bake doughs accurately.
- Use both traditional and modern baking techniques to ensure product consistency and quality.
Quality & Consistency:
- Maintain consistent product standards across daily output.
- Conduct quality checks on ingredients and finished items.
Stock & Inventory:
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and report shortages or order needs.
- Ensure proper rotation and storage of all ingredients and products.
Hygiene & Safety:
- Adhere strictly to food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
- Keep workstations and baking equipment clean, sanitised, and well-maintained.
