We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Palletising and securely packing bagged, boxed and loose materials and equipment
  • Goods inwards inspection, receipt and put-away
  • Supporting the wider warehouse team as required, including picking and packing smaller orders during busy periods
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and tidy warehouse environment

Candidate Requirements

  • A good standard of written and spoken English and numeracy
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Basic computer skills, including experience using Microsoft products
  • The ability to use a computerised ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365) and hand scanners
  • A reliable, proactive and self-motivated attitude
  • Good teamwork skills and a willingness to learn
  • Flexibility and pride in maintaining high standards of work

This is a manual role involving regular heavy lifting of up to 25kg, therefore a good level of physical fitness is essential. A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided on-site for the right candidate.

Salary £26,900 per annum

Start Date The position is available for an immediate start. However, candidates required to work a notice period may be asked to commence employment from late June onwards.
