BDO is an accountancy and business advisory firm that works with high growth businesses. As a member of our Audit team you will be responsible for delivering accurate and transparent reporting to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Identify risk matters and raise them with a manager and/or partner while exercising judgement within agreed parameters.
  • Identify and understand the needs of the Audited Entity, suggest technical solutions and communicate those solutions with Managers or Partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and established Audited Entities, identifying opportunities and acting as a point of contact throughout the year.
  • Conduct rigorous project and financial management on all projects, completing work within agreed timescales and raising issues in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/ICAS or overseas equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of financial products, firm services, issues concerning advice, regulation and compliance including anti-money laundering.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior team members.
  • Experience managing projects.
