As an audit team member at BDO you will support the delivery of high‑quality, transparent audits for entrepreneurial organisations. You will collaborate with senior managers, directors, and partners to provide accurate reporting and long‑term value to stakeholders while advancing your own professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and transparent audits that meet UK and International GAAS, IFRS, and UK GAAP standards.
  • Collaborate regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to share information and ensure quality.
  • Supervise and coach junior staff on site, providing guidance and support to their professional growth.
  • Contribute to the firm’s knowledge base on regulation, compliance (including anti‑money laundering) and service delivery.
  • Demonstrate awareness of current economic and market trends to enhance audit quality.

Qualifications

  • Qualified ACA, ACCA, ICAS or overseas equivalent.
  • Degree level education or CTS qualification.
  • Experience supervising and coaching junior members of staff on site.
  • Working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Working knowledge of firm services, advice issues, regulation, compliance, including anti‑money laundering.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current economic and market trends.
