Responsibilities
- Lead high impact research in Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing, including large language models and social media analytics, with national and international visibility.
- Shape the strategic direction of research and education in AI and NLP at the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
- Foster industry engagement and collaborations, contributing to the School's research profile and educational excellence.
- Secure competitive research funding, lead research initiatives, and supervise higher degree research students.
- Deliver high quality teaching and develop curriculum at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Demonstrate clear leadership within the discipline, including academic governance and program development.
