We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate to join our Aviation team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a globally recognised practice, advising insurers, reinsurers, airlines, and aviation service providers on a wide range of complex and high-profile matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of aviation-related claims, including liability, coverage, and regulatory matters
- Advising clients on contentious and non-contentious aviation issues
- Handling litigation in the High Court and supporting dispute resolution processes
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and legal advice
- Engaging directly with clients, brokers, and industry stakeholders
- Supporting partners on large-scale, multi-jurisdictional matters
About You
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent common law jurisdiction)
- 2-5 years' PQE, ideally with experience in aviation, insurance, or complex litigation
- Strong analytical and drafting skills
- Commercial awareness and a keen interest in the aviation sector
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
