Kennedys is seeking a talented and motivated Associate with 2+ years' post-qualification experience to join its growing Professional Liability team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded team, advising insurers and professionals on a broad range of complex and high-value claims.
The Role
- Handle a varied caseload of professional indemnity matters, acting for insurers and professionals across sectors such as construction, legal, financial, and other advisory services.
- Involve both contentious and advisory work, offering strong exposure to high-profile disputes and strategic client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of professional liability claims from inception to resolution.
- Advising insurer clients on coverage and policy issues.
- Assisting on complex, high-value litigation in the High Court.
- Drafting pleadings, reports, and client correspondence.
- Engaging directly with clients, experts, and counsel.
- Supporting business development initiatives and client relationship management.
About You
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2+ PQE.
- Experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation, or commercial disputes.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
