The predicted salary is between 24169 - 25674 £ per year.
Band 2, Ward Clerk, 37.5 hrs per week. Monday‑Sunday 08.00‑20.00 on rota, including some weekends and bank holidays. We are looking for an enthusiastic, empathetic individual to support the Inpatient Wards. The post holder will assist in delivering high quality, safe and compassionate care to patients, providing administrative support to a diverse clinical team and upholding the Trust's standards of customer service.
Main duties:
- Provide administrative support to the clinical team and cover across the Trust's administrative resource.
- File all paperwork appropriately.
- Provide cover across the POD as and when required.
- Ensure all procedures are followed for data capture of service specific outcomes.
- Provide an excellent standard of service to patients at all times.
- Adhere to trust wide standard operating procedures and participate in their development.
- Photocopying and filing tasks.
- Greet relatives as they enter the ward.
- Book follow up appointments.
- Book transport.
Person specification:
Qualifications: GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previous administrative experience.
- Experience working within a customer driven service.
- Experience with a Patient Administration System.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Ability to work under supervision as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload.
- Willingness to learn new systems.
