You will bring operational rigour, inspirational leadership, and an instinctive understanding of what it means to deliver events that are not merely well‑run, but genuinely unforgettable. If you are driven by the pursuit of excellence, energised by complexity, and passionate about elevating every event experience, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Director of Event Operations in the strategic and day‑to‑day leadership of the events operation, taking ownership of end‑to‑end event execution across weddings, corporate functions, private gatherings, and high‑profile conferences, ensuring every event reflects the standards and values of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.
- Act as a senior point of contact for event hosts and VIP guests, delivering a personalised, anticipatory, and discreet service that instils confidence and exceeds expectations at every stage of the event journey.

- Collaborate closely with Event Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and all relevant departments to ensure seamless, end‑to‑end coordination across every function, with clear communication and shared ownership of outcomes.
- Oversee the preparation, set‑up, service, and breakdown of all event spaces, ensuring décor, lighting, seating, and all operational details meet the exacting standards expected of a Rosewood property.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control across the events operation, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers and ensuring quality and value are upheld at every level.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team, modelling inclusive behaviours, supporting equitable experiences for all associates, and ensuring recruitment and development practices reflect the hotel's commitment to equal opportunity.
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality in all matters relating to guests, associates, and business operations, and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH regulations, and hotel fire and safety procedures.
- Connection – You build authentic, lasting relationships with guests and colleagues alike, possessing the rare ability to make every guest feel genuinely known and valued while fostering a spirit of trust, collaboration, and mutual respect across the entire hotel team.
- Guest‑centricity – You understand instinctively that event operations is about far more than logistics – it is about crafting deeply personal, memorable experiences for every guest and client, anticipating their needs with precision, and ensuring that every detail, however small, is executed to perfection.
- Influencing – You communicate with eloquence, confidence, and adaptability, whether briefing a large events team, managing expectations with a VIP client, or aligning multiple departments around a complex programme – always ensuring the right information reaches the right people at exactly the right moment.
- Integrity – You operate with the utmost discretion and professionalism at all times, handling sensitive guest and business information with care, taking full ownership of every commitment you make, and consistently upholding the hotel's values and standards in every interaction.
