We are looking to recruit an Architectural Technician / Assistant Architectural Technician to join our fantastic East Midlands Technical team. The role will see you working under the supervision of the Technical Manager, providing architectural design services and solutions on individual projects, presenting proposals and working drawings using AutoCAD.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support in the planning and warrants process, including liaison with local authorities.
- Providing appropriate drawings and details to the commercial team to assist the procurement process.
- Providing CAD drawings and details to Production teams for use on site.
- Provide appropriate drawings and details for use by the Sales Team for brochure production and on site usage.
REQUIREMENTS
- To have experience in Architectural Design, ideally working within housebuilding.
- To have a CIOB qualification in Building Design or a related HNC/HND.
- To be AutoCAD literate and have an understanding of the construction process.
- To understand technical detailing at all levels of housing design.
