Job Purpose: The Assessment Delivery Officer is responsible for ensuring the integrity, fairness, and regulatory compliance of admissions, entry, and preparatory assessment activities across the College. The postholder delivers admissions and entry‑related assessments in line with approved requirements, manages the delivery environment, and ensures compliance, consistency, and integrity of assessment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver presentations and assessments to applicants.
  • Conduct admissions compliance and application checks at relevant stages.
  • Maintain and improve assessment processes.
  • Review documentation and identify, report, and log suspicious submissions or activity.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable admissions records.
  • Identify, record, and elevate admissions‑related risks or non‑compliance.
  • Support regulatory returns, audits, and reviews.
  • Act as Assessment Compliance Officer safeguarding academic integrity and learner welfare.
  • Ensure full compliance with approved procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Verify identity checks and key compliance controls.
  • Produce concise post‑session compliance reports.
  • Maintain systems for tracking compliance evidence.
  • Contribute to risk management, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively across admissions, academic, and professional services teams.
  • Maintain independence, impartiality, confidentiality, and professional boundaries at all times.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Experience working within regulated or controlled processes.
  • Experience delivering assessments, teaching, training, or structured sessions.
  • Experience managing controlled delivery environments.
  • Experience conducting application checks or compliance verification.
  • Experience producing written records suitable for audit purposes.
  • Understanding of fairness, integrity, and confidentiality in admissions processes.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Confident classroom or session management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements consistently.
  • Strong professional judgement and risk identification capability.
  • High levels of integrity, impartiality, and professionalism.
  • Calm and measured approach in high‑pressure situations.
