Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist in menu development, recipe creation, and food costing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize wastage.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and exceed guest expectations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up.
- Experience in Indian cuisine is preferred, including cooking techniques, ingredients and recipes.
- Culinary qualification from a recognized culinary institution preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation.
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
