This exciting and innovative position will provide mental health support to Ashford Primary Care Network (PCN) in Kent. We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Practitioner – Nurses, Social Workers, or Occupational Therapists – to work in Ashford PCN as part of the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS). The role involves 2 x 22.5 hours per week and will mainly be carried out as a member of the integrated GP surgery teams. You will embed within the PCN multi‑disciplinary team, liaise with the community mental health MDT, and help bridge primary and secondary mental health care by delivering high‑quality services in primary care settings.
Main duties of the job: The practitioner will work autonomously and creatively in a busy, demanding environment, requiring excellent assessment skills and knowledge of local resources. You will act as a gatekeeper and guardian for referrals to secondary care services, using your expertise to provide high‑quality interventions within a newly established primary care integrated mental health service.
