Responsibilities:
- Handling all in-coming and out-going telephone calls; taking messages, directing calls and handling enquiries in a prompt and efficient manner ensuring that a professional image is maintained at all times.
- Meet and greet visitors, ensuring that they are directed to the relevant departments and providing refreshments for reception visitors.
- In-coming and out-going post; distributing, franking, special deliveries, registered mail.
- Co-ordinating of meeting room bookings.
- General administration duties for management when required.
- General administration duties for the People Department including; employee maintenance, time & attendance, holidays and Return to works.
- Evaluate stationary stock levels and replenish accordingly via external providers.
- Ensuring that the reception area is clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure that all duties performed and carried out with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Develop a successful working relationship with all other parties both internally and externally to the business to ensure that the role is fulfilled to the required standard.
- Keep your work area clean and free from debris, spillages and contamination free at all times.
- Carry out cleaning as you go.
- When lifting any objects maintain ensure correct techniques are employed to prevent personal injury or injury to others if unsure seek assistance.
- Use, clean and maintain the working order of all equipment, and report any faults you are unable to rectify to your Manager.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety and food hygiene standards at all times.
- To perform any other tasks and duties as requested by your Manager.
- Willingness and flexibility to perform other tasks and duties that are not "usually" performed day to day, required for business reasons.
- Consider working reasonable overtime as requested by your Manager.
- Attend training courses that are relevant and appropriate to your tasks and duties, as requested by your Manager.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communicator and customer facing, able to develop strong relationships.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Good computer skills including; Microsoft Word and Excel.
This role is working 5 hours per day working Monday to Friday.
