About You / Candidate Requirements
- You bring at least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR Officer role, supported by a third-level qualification in HRM, Business Studies or a related field; CIPD Level 5 and membership would be a strong advantage
- You have solid, practical knowledge of both NI and ROI employment legislation, with hands‑on experience advising managers on employee relations, absence, performance, recruitment, retention, wellbeing, and disciplinary and grievance processes
- You are confident working with Trade Unions and experienced in building trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
- You are highly organised, IT proficient with HR systems and time management tools, and able to manage multiple priorities with ease
- You communicate clearly and professionally, with a confident and approachable style that builds strong relationships
- Experience in a multi-site or FMCG/manufacturing environment would be beneficial, and a full driving licence with access to a car is essential due to travel requirements
What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day HR support across multiple sites, acting as a trusted point of contact for managers and employees
- Partner with managers on all employee relations activity, including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases
- Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, retention and development initiatives
- Drive engagement, wellbeing and learning initiatives that enhance the employee experience and organisational culture
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and fully aligned with employment legislation
- Maintain accurate HR data, reporting and systems management to support informed decision-making; contribute to performance management and wider organisational development activities
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across the business to support a positive and high-performing workplace
- Play an active role in continuous improvement across HR processes and ways of working
