The Archives and Records Management team forms part of the Library and Archives department. Archive staff manage Kew's historic record of activities, as well as collections and other documents relating to the history of botany. The Archives Graduate Trainee will be key in helping to manage the archival and modern records collections and provide access to them.

- Reading Room duties
- Document retrievals
- Reprographics orders
- Supporting researchers and staff in accessing archival resources
Qualifications
- Applicants should hold a degree and not be already professionally qualified in Archives or Records Management
- A modest amount of experience working in an archive or records service, either voluntary or paid, is desirable
- The position offers full training in all tasks
- Demonstrated interest in the sector and an intention to pursue a career in archives administration or records management are required
- Strong planning, prioritisation, communication and customer service skills
- A commitment to inclusive archive practice
