The predicted salary is between 25000 - 32000 £ per year.

We are keen to support students and have places available for RIBA Part 1 qualified individuals seeking a 1-year placement. The individual will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects, working as part of a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, dynamic, motivated and creative individual, who is looking for a challenging and rewarding experience. Successful candidates will have an interest in traditional and/or classical design, and an eye for detail.

Key Competencies

  • Good drawing and presentation skills, attention to detail is key.
  • Strong design ability.
  • Awareness of building technologies and environmental design.
  • Awareness of technical standards, regulatory frameworks and health and safety requirements.
  • Well organised, with good time management skills; proficient at working on a varied portfolio of work and meeting all deadlines.
  • Good people skills, comfortable working independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK.

Skills & Abilities

  • Skilled at hand drawing and sketching.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Working knowledge of 3D Modelling Software (Rhino, Blender, 3DS Max).
  • Awareness of Archicad (Training provided, principal drafting software).
