In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. You will be involved in planning and implementing activities that delight residents across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. You’ll also assist the Home Manager with organising essential fundraising events and encourage residents to socialise more effectively.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging activities for residents.
- Assist the Home Manager with the organisation of fundraising events.
- Encourage and support residents in building confidence and socialisation.
- Collaborate with the care home team to develop new activity ideas based on residents’ hobbies.
- Identify signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training and report concerns, including escalation if required.
Qualifications
- Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
- Demonstrated planning, organisational and IT skills.
- Strong time‑management and communication skills.
- Positive, energetic and considerate attitude towards residents and colleagues.
