We are looking for Chef de Parties to join our team at the Cellar at 24 and The Ox and Anchor in the beautiful village of Anstruther. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to further their career working under a passionate, experienced head chef. We work closely with local suppliers and celebrate what we have on our doorstep with simple but elegant cooking. We are looking for a passionate, driven chef to run their own section competently and assist with the rest of the team on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CDP or in a similar role within a kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues in a busy kitchen setting.
