An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Employment Solicitor with ideally 3-5 years PQE to join a highly regarded and progressive Employment Team based in Leicester. The team is recognised within the Legal 500 and is known for delivering high-quality Employment Law advice and representation. About the Role
This Employment Solicitor position offers exposure to a broad mix of claimant and respondent work acting on behalf of employees and regional and national businesses. You will manage a varied caseload including:
- Unfair dismissal claims
- Discrimination and harassment cases
- Whistleblowing matters
- Redundancy and restructuring advice
- Settlement agreements and negotiations
- Mediation and alternative dispute resolution
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Employment Appeal Tribunal matters
From early-stage negotiations through to complex Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal proceedings, this role offers genuine breadth and depth of experience.

The Employment Team is collaborative and supportive, with experienced colleagues providing supervision, mentoring and guidance. Training, professional development and knowledge-sharing are key priorities. This role offers:

About You
You will be an Employment Solicitor with:
- Around 3-5 years' PQE in Employment Law
- Experience managing your own Employment Tribunal caseload

- Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
- Commercially aware and client-focused
- Thriving in a collaborative team environment
Experience in complex discrimination claims or appellate work would be advantageous but is not essential.
