We are recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to cover our Towcester Depot area. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding family-owned business as part of a driven and experienced Sales team. The successful candidate will be selling new and used machinery from leading franchises such as Case IH, JCB, Bailey Trailers, and many more.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the dealership in the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
  • Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment and services offered by the dealership - this will be supported by regular sales training and events.
  • Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers in securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  • Monitor competitor activity, products, and services, and feedback to sales management accordingly.
  • Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  • Build strong and loyal relationships with defined sales area customers.
  • Recognise and monitor trends in customer business activity and communicate to management in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years equipment sales experience.
  • A good knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming operational practices.
  • The ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions, and sales tools.
  • The ability to analyse and interpret internal reports.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • The ability to work extended hours.
  • An excellent attitude, conducting themselves with confidence, integrity, and honesty.
