Job responsibilities:

We're looking for an experienced ACP, ANP and Advanced Paramedic(s) to join a well-established GP surgery in Halifax, working within their Same Day / Acute Care clinics. This is a steady block booking ideal for clinicians wanting consistent hours and a supportive environment. You'll be assessing, diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for patients presenting with same-day and acute conditions. You'll work autonomously but also as part of a friendly, collaborative practice team.

Person Specification:

  • Registered healthcare professional (e.g., Nurse, Paramedic, etc.)
  • Current professional registration with the relevant governing body (NMC, HCPC, Masters level qualification in Advanced Clinical Practice or working towards it).
  • Independent Prescriber Qualified ACP or ANP Independent Prescriber.
  • Experience working in GP or primary care settings.
  • Confident managing acute, undifferentiated presentations.
  • Comfortable working autonomously.
