Main duties of the job
- Support and Supervise: Provide guidance and supervision to team members, fostering their professional development.
- Maintain Workflows: Ensure the teams workload is managed effectively, keeping everything running smoothly.
- Deputise: Step in for the team manager, providing leadership and support during their absence.
- Collaborate: Work closely with colleagues to deliver outstanding occupational therapy services to our clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in adult social care setting.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in occupational therapy.

Experience
At least 2 years working as a qualified experienced Band B Occupational Therapist or at an equivalent level. Significant post qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist. Experience of complex occupational therapy casework responsibility, including mental capacity assessments, safeguarding investigations, reablement/enablement, and major adaptation design, commissioning support packages and complex moving and handling. Experience of supporting people in relation to risk management, strength-based outcome planning and multi-disciplinary working. Experience of supporting and mentoring qualified, newly qualified, and unqualified Occupational therapy staff.

An Occupational Therapy Qualification HCPC.
