Howden is offering the opportunity to join our Consumer & Local Commercial team as an Insurance Advisor. This role provides full on site training, coaching and support to gain industry recognised qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with clients by listening to their needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Engage in client conversations to understand unique requirements and offer appropriate coverage.
  • Develop problem solving skills to create customised insurance solutions for a variety of products (equine, campervans, motorhomes, classic cars, motorbikes, marine, fine art, etc.).
  • Maintain knowledge of product lines and industry trends to advise clients effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing training and workshops to achieve professional qualifications.

Qualifications & Attributes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for the insurance sector.
  • Ambitious and self motivated with a desire to succeed and progress within the company.
  • Previous sales experience is desirable but not required; on site training will be provided.
  • Ability to learn quickly and build rapport with diverse clients.
