We are a Derby based security company with over 30 years combined experience in the industry. We are looking for hard‑working and experienced SIA licensed security officers to join our pool for ad‑hoc security work around the East Midlands.

Work & Responsibilities

  • We have work ranging from static sites, gatehouse, patrols, to events work and festivals.
  • You should have a customer‑focused approach, a positive attitude towards work and should be able to work as part of a team with other officers.
  • The ability to build a strong relationship with our clients' staff and members of the public is also important.
  • A key requirement for working at NVC is your ability to work effectively in teams and develop strong team loyalty.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Applicants must hold an SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard licence.
  • At least 3 years experience in a security role is preferred, but not essential as full training will be given.
  • A flexible approach to work is preferred as you will be required to work some weekends.
  • Basic knowledge of using a smartphone / tablet preferred.
  • Access to own vehicle required due to the locations of the jobs.
  • Good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to demonstrate the highest level of professionalism.
  • Must also be able to use own initiative and work independently.
  • You’ll need a checkable work or education history for the previous five years, and you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
