Llanarth Court is looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse - Nights to join the team. We have 95 secure beds, male and female, 18+ and BTPs 3 secure, 2 R&R. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours. We also have an additional facility within the grounds of the hospital, offering opportunities for individuals who require bespoke packages of care, as part of our bespoke therapeutic placement (BTP) offering. What you'll be doing
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing.
- Take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
- Play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
- Monitor and review nursing care plans.
- Evaluate and respond to changes in patient's condition and needs.
- Deal proactively and effectively with suggestions and complaints from patients and their families/carers.
- Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
