The Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh is inviting child performers for its festive show 2026, "A Christmas Carol". This is a casting opportunity to join a professional company and develop as a performer within a supportive environment at one of the UK's leading producing theatres.
We are looking to cast three roles: Tiny Tim and his two siblings, Martha and Peter. Each role will be shared by 3 children, for a total of 9 opportunities. All performers must be aged 9+ and based within a 40 minute travel time of The Lyceum Theatre.
The show contains content that could be upsetting, including death, poverty, and potentially frightening theatrical effects. The show is rated age 7+ for the public. The performance schedule will be busy, with shows spread across morning, matinee, and evening slots (approximate times: mornings 10:15am – 12:15pm, matinees 2:00pm – 4:00pm, evenings 7:00pm – 9:00pm).
