Responsibilities
- Assist with child care, including supervising games and outdoor activities.
- Prepare meals for the children and run light grocery shopping.
- Pick up the children from school in Oxford; a confident driver is required and mileage will be reimbursed.
- Handle laundry and general tidy up; a dedicated cleaner is already in place, so deep cleaning is not required.
- Be available for possible extra days or hours during school holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience working with children aged 4 to 7.
- Childcare qualifications essential.
- Up to date enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Minimum of two professional referees, including a reference from the current or last employer.
- Appropriate professional insurance (nanny insurance) is recommended.
Working Hours & Schedule
Wednesdays 1:30 pm-6:30 pm, Thursdays 1:30 pm-6:30 pm with a possible full day on Wednesdays from 7 am for the right candidate. The position is intended to start in August.
Compensation
£22 gross per hour; mileage reimbursed.
