£10,000 President Scholarships 2026 Available at Queen Mary University of London.
If you have been waiting for a sign to pursue your master's degree in London, this is it. Queen Mary University of London has opened applications for its President's Global Scholarships 2026, a competitive award that hands up to 20 international students a straight £10,000 off their tuition fees. The intake is September 2026, the competition is fierce, and the deadline is already on the horizon.
This scholarship is a one-time tuition fee reduction, not a living stipend. The full £10,000 is deducted directly from your tuition fees at enrolment. You must be entirely self-funded, meaning no other university scholarship or external full fee sponsorship can be stacked on top of this award. The scholarship covers tuition only; you remain responsible for all remaining fees, accommodation, visa costs, NHS surcharges, and day-to-day living expenses in London. The scholarship cannot be deferred to a future intake or academic year; it applies exclusively to September 2026 enrolment.
Who Actually Qualifies?
- You must have achieved a UK first class honours degree or its verified international equivalent by 31st March 2026.
- You must already hold an unconditional offer for an eligible full time postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2026.
- Your fee status must be confirmed as Overseas by Queen Mary and must stay Overseas for the entire duration of your programme.
- You must be enrolled full time - part time students are not eligible.
- You cannot hold any other Queen Mary scholarship or receive full fee funding from an external sponsor simultaneously.
- Several high demand programmes are explicitly excluded, including MSc Artificial Intelligence, MSc Data Science, MSc Computer Science (Conversion), MSc Economics, MSc Psychology (Conversion), all distance learning programmes, MRes programmes, pre masters pathways, PG Diplomas, and PG Certificates.
- Students joining Queen Mary through a partner university arrangement are also ineligible.
Queen Mary makes the final call on whether your international qualification is equivalent to a UK first class degree.
