Job Description: Credit Trading Specialist – Exotics Derivatives Products
Location: London, UK
Contract: 6 months (Extendable)
Daily Rate: £negotiable as per Market Rate, Inside IR35
Work Arrangement: Onsite 3 days per week
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Trading Specialist with extensive experience in exotic products to join our dynamic team in London. This role will focus on supporting credit trading activities, particularly for exotic products such as Credit-Linked Notes (CLNs) and Total Return Swaps (TRSs). The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate booking, pricing, and execution of complex financial instruments while contributing to the success of our trading strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Support: Ensure accurate booking and lifecycle management of exotic credit trading products, including CLNs, TRSs, and other structured derivatives.
- Pricing Expertise: Collaborate with traders and quants to validate pricing models, perform price validation, and assess P&L impacts for exotic trades.
- Financial Mechanics: Analyze and understand the financial mechanics of credit derivatives, including payoff structures, credit risk, and valuation dynamics.
- Risk Management: Support risk management activities by monitoring positions, exposure, and key risk metrics associated with exotic credit products.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with trading desks, technology teams, and operations to ensure seamless trade execution, reporting, and compliance.
- Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance operational efficiency in trade booking and management.
