Are you musically gifted and have a heart for Christian worship as well as leading, mentoring, and growing young adults (18 to 30 years) in their faith and bringing not yet believers to come to know Jesus? Then this could be the role for you!
Christ Church (www.cccw.org.uk) is looking to appoint a Worship and Young Adults Pastor, who will help to fulfill our βGRACEβ vision in expanding worship ministry at our 6.00 pm Sunday services, which our teenagers and young adults are encouraged to attend.
You will be part of a creative and lively team of clergy and lay staff, lead and nurture a group of volunteers who love being involved in worship, and have opportunities for professional and personal growth.
The role is full-time β 37.5 hours over 5 days including Sundays. The salary is between Β£25,000.00 and Β£27,000.00 a year with a housing allowance of Β£8,250.00 a year. We can consider making a part-time appointment (pro rata of full-time salary) over three days including Sundays. The housing allowance is not applicable to part-time roles.
Our evangelical Anglican Church (Church of England) is close to Junction 18 of the M25 and has good transport links to central London and further afield. We have a large congregation with many families and young people, great technical facilities, and a well-developed and growing online ministry.
