Job Empire is recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in England, UK. We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team on a full‑time, permanent basis. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and equipment, using a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using tools such as saws, shears, and presses
- Weld and join metal pieces together using various welding techniques
- Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, such as grinders, drills, and plasma cutters
- Measure and mark dimensions for metal pieces according to project specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot finished products for quality and accuracy
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
- Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality work
