The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Stores Operative. This is an opportunity to join the Calor Gas Central Stores Team. You will be working as a Warehouse Operative out of the Stoney Stanton site. You will be responsible for supplying parts out to engineers and direct to sites so that tanks and cylinders can be fitted and maintained, as well as checking and shelving stock we have delivered, and returns we receive. The work hours will be 7.30am to 4.30pm or 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Friday. We would like someone who is available for immediate start.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing orders from pick slips
- Checking orders
- Moving stock
- Goods in
- Sorting returns
- Stock takes
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse
As such we would like you to have/be:
- Computer Literate – experience of MRP systems i.e SAP would be advantageous
- FLT licence preferred but not essential
- Reliable
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to give attention to detail
- Works well in a team
