Every second Saturday off.

Three days off in a row every second weekend.

Almost unheard of in retail, and it’s exactly what you’ll get here.

The Job

Run your own store, hands-on and on the floor, with a team of 10 to 15.

You'll be in the work, stock, service, standards, done with your team, not from an office.

If you love being on the floor, you'll love this.

If you want a desk, you won't.

Why now is the moment

The Reject Shop is becoming Dollarama Australia, part of one of the most successful discount retailers in the world.

That's not a logo change.

We're investing in the Australian business from the ground up, the stores, the technology, the branding, the people and the way we work.

Get in now, learn how a global retailer really operates, and grow as we do.

The people who join at this point are the ones who'll be leading it next.

You

You've managed a retail store, servo, fast food outlet, pub, chemist or similar, and you lead by doing.

No discount variety experience needed.

We'll teach you the business, and a global operating model most managers never get to learn.

From $31.11 base hourly rate (depending on experience) + penalty rates + overtime rates each week + bonus + 17.5% leave loading, and a real path forward as the business grows.

We should have examples on hand of how we've handled difficult situations or gone above and beyond to meet a customer's needs. These anecdotes will bring your application to life!

Familiarity with Point of Sale Systems

Many retail roles require us to work with Point of Sale (POS) systems, so it's a good idea to brush up on any relevant software you’ve used before. Be Ready for Role-Playing Scenarios

Many retail interviews include role-playing scenarios where we might have to deal with a difficult customer or upsell a product. Practising these scenarios with a friend or family member can help us feel more comfortable. The key here is to showcase our problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure!
