Help shape the future of Bradfield City Centre and contribute to one of Australia's most significant urban development projects. This is a 3 years temporary full-time opportunity based in Penrith with occasional travel to Bradfield (flexible working supported). Salary relative to experience, ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 + super.
As Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of strategic planning, design and sustainability initiatives that support the implementation of the Bradfield City Master Plan and Sustainability and Resilience Strategy. Working across a range of complex projects, you'll help guide planning outcomes that create a connected, liveable and sustainable city for future generations.
In this role, you'll bring strong town planning expertise and project delivery experience to manage projects from concept through to implementation. You'll work closely with government agencies, industry partners, consultants and internal stakeholders to navigate competing priorities, influence outcomes and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with Bradfield's long-term vision.

What you will bring to the role:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic, statutory or precinct planning within government, consultancy or the development sector.
- Strong understanding of contemporary planning frameworks, urban development processes and place-based outcomes.
- Experience delivering complex planning, urban design or sustainability projects from inception through to implementation.
- Knowledge of sustainability, resilience, net zero, nature-positive or environmental planning principles and their application in city-shaping projects.
- Proven ability to build productive relationships and influence a broad range of stakeholders, including government agencies, consultants and industry partners.
- Strong project management skills, including governance, procurement, risk management and delivery within agreed timeframes and budgets.
- Well-developed analytical, research and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, evidence-based advice and recommendations.
Key Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong project management experience and knowledge in development and delivery in one or more of the following fields: town planning, urban design, contributions planning, net zero strategy and transition planning, nature positive planning and delivery, and organisational sustainability reporting.
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or relevant professional experience.
- C Class Drivers Licence.
