The role of a lifeguard is to supervise the aquatic space, proactively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area. Lifeguards must be able to anticipate and respond swiftly to issues that may arise. They are required to ensure facility rules are obeyed, educate facility users about safe aquatic practices, and provide excellent customer service.

We currently have permanent positions available from Monday to Friday between 4 pm and 9 pm, along with permanent part-time weekend shifts.

Essential criteria:

  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Pool Lifeguard Skill Set)
  • First Aid & CPR certificate
  • NSW Working with Children Check

This position is identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To apply, you must provide a valid Working with Children Check Number. You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration, and/or a Functional Test relevant to the position. If a Criminal History Check reveals disclosable court outcomes, you must provide a copy of the report for review to proceed with the recruitment process.
