The purpose of this role is to actively engage with participants in the Aquatics programs by delivering high-quality swimming lessons to a diverse range of customers while ensuring safety of both staff and patrons.
We currently have permanent positions available in the afternoons Monday to Friday along with permanent part-time weekend shifts.
Essential criteria:
- Learn to Swim Instructor qualification
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NSW Working with Children Check
Commencing salary: $30.00 - $34.72 per hour plus 11.5% Superannuation.
This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.
You will be required to undertake employment checks which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test as relevant to the position for which you have applied.

Aquatics and Leisure provides a number of facilities including a gym, pools, and a hydrotherapy and rehabilitation centre to the residents of the Penrith Local Government Area.
