- Have experience of:
- Materials planning to include MRP adherence, creation and maintenance of hardware planning tables, release of purchasing requisitions and production orders and interrogation of goods movements and stock transfers.
- ECN processing including the correct interpretation of engineering and programme requirements, as well as requisition release, BOM creation, structuring, and maintenance, both in LCA and SAP.
- Maintenance of the Hardware Specification Document based on current Top Level Plan and relevant ECN or engineering information.
- Confidently chairing meetings, distributing the agenda and minutes in a timely fashion whilst ensuring any actions resulting from the meeting are progressed.
- Build Request creation and management ensuring changes are accurately controlled and parts are available to support the desired specification and build schedule, acting as a liaison between build and engineering to agree any deviations to the requested specification that may be required.
- Kit creation, release (to stores) and management including shortage reporting and working with the supply chain to resolve any issues surrounding missing parts so as not to delay production. This will encompass re-use strategy management and progression of concessions through the business.
- Identifying and mitigating risks to progress in build, test, maintenance and servicing.
- Working closely with engineering, programme management, purchasing, scheduling, quality, finance, stores, build and test to ensure planned requirements are met and barriers to progress are removed, providing feedback on programme status versus key targets.
- Planning into production large programmes with delivery at OEM level.
- Demonstrate knowledge of:
- SAP
- CATIA
- BoM structure
- Engineering Releases
- Experience of ECN processing, including use of SAP for MRP, BOM maintenance and control.
- Experience of LCA for BOM structuring in CAD.
- An understanding of motorsports and powertrain technology including ICE and hybrid components.
- Experience with engineering and technical drawings to ensure specification requirements are satisfied.
- Previous hardware specification and management experience.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of SAP, LCA and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Hold these qualifications:
- Degree qualified is beneficial; but not essential.
- And be:
- Clear and concise communicator with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive with great time management.
- Methodical and structured style with good attention to detail and a rigorous approach to the execution of tasks.
- A creative, tenacious team player with excellent problem solving skills.
- A positive, professional attitude with the ability to be flexible/adapt in a changeable and high pressured environment.
