About the role
You’ll play a key role in supporting a dynamic team committed to enhancing conservation values. The position offers plenty of variety including providing essential administrative and support services to keep operations running smoothly, and working with internal and external stakeholders. You will use a range of technologies and have practical skills including the ability to drive manual vehicles. You’ll assist with processing financial transactions, such as creating purchase orders and processing invoices and basic financial reporting. You will provide calendar management and coordinate practical operations and administrative processes related to fleet management.
The role also supports internal and external stakeholders across the Branch by handling general enquiries, preparing various reports for senior staff and managers, assisting with the organisation of training, meetings, and travel, reviewing shared mailboxes, calendars, and resources, and providing support during incidents such as bushfires. You’ll ensure compliance with organisational policies, processes, procedures, audit, and statutory requirements. Other duties include the use of Content Manager (CM) for records management, maintaining minor asset registers, assisting with Work Health and Safety and asset audits, taking meeting minutes, collating documents for insurance claims, and demonstrating inclusivity and respect in all interactions.

You are a highly organised and motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative and diverse setting. You possess strong technology skills, you are analytical with attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with staff and stakeholders. Your passion for your community and environment, coupled with a passion for providing excellent and positive customer service will be key to your success in this role.
Essential Role Requirements
Experience in administration including the use of computer-based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems. Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies and practices.
