New Business Manager/Sales Manager (Debt Recovery Industry)Skelmersdale Salary negotiable up to £48,000 p. a Excellent Bonus scheme This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Sales Manager to join an ambitious expanding UK Credit Management Company, based at their head offices in Skelmersdale.
This role is managing a team of 3 Sales Advisors and driving performance.
You will also be hands on with business development activities by researching opportunities, implementing sales strategies and monitoring the new business teams effectiveness and professionalism.
Core Tasks Respond to telephone calls and allocating these to staff as appropriate.
Assist with the implementation and adherence of controls to monitor compliance with Fair Debt Collection Practices set down by the FCA & Credit Services Association.
Liaise with Accounts and IT departments to produce weekly and monthly reports to provide relevant information for the Directors.
Develop and report KPIs for your team including evaluating weekly call quality & overall telephone interaction.
Assist in the implementation of strategic changes and improvements in line with the overall business strategy and customer service charters.
Take overall responsibility for the monitoring of holiday entitlement, sickness absence, authorised/unauthorised absence and lateness.
Provide bi-annual appraisal for all team members in relation to the company guidelines and set personal goals and objectives for the purpose of team learning & development.
Ensure all disciplinary is held within the companies guidelines and the HR Director is present for all formal disciplinary meetings as the company representative.
Develop customer brand loyalty by providing excellent customer service and communication.
Ensure all potential debt portfolios are risk assessed effectively and liaise with clients in relation to ensuring all proof of debt is obtained.
Create lead generation strategies for the new business team and ensure all they create a professional image of Federal Management at all times.
Attend trade fairs where necessary to promote the services of Federal Management and obtain potential leads for future business.
Accomplish sales objectives by planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating advertising and developing sales action plans.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be an experienced people manager and able to drive business.
You will ideally have some experience within credit control or collections.
Knowledge of the legal industry would also be helpful.
The salary on offer for this position is negotiable + excellent commission/bonus.
