Bridge Global is seeking a skilled Subsea Engineer to join our client's team. As a Subsea Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea equipment and infrastructure. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the success and efficiency of subsea projects for our client.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop subsea equipment and systems, including subsea trees, wellheads, pipelines, and control systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analysis for subsea projects, considering factors such as environmental conditions, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure the successful execution of subsea projects, adhering to project specifications and industry standards.
- Ensure the integrity and reliability of subsea equipment through inspection, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of subsea equipment, ensuring compliance with project plans and safety guidelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure safe and efficient subsea operations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to subsea operations teams, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in subsea engineering, incorporating new technologies and best practices into project designs and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Subsea Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Subsea Engineer or in a related role within the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of subsea equipment and systems, including subsea trees, wellheads, pipelines, and control systems.
- Proficiency in subsea engineering software and tools, such as ROV simulation software and pipeline design software.
- Experience with subsea installation and maintenance activities, including inspection, repair, and diving operations.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, such as API, ISO, and DNV GL.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in offshore environments and adapt to varying project requirements.
- Valid offshore certifications, including BOSIET and offshore medical certificate, preferred.
NAECI Agreement Payment terms. Work permit and flight. Private Healthcare. 4% Pension Contribution. Certificate of Sponsorship, Immigration Charge, Visa Entry, Visa Health surcharge and Flight costs included. 10% Annual bonus. Accommodation provided for 1-2 months upon arrival.
