Overview
Job Bridge Global is looking for a talented Project Engineer specializing in Oil and Gas to join our clients Manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing projects in a laboratory from conception through to completion, ensuring all project aspects align with quality, budget, and timeline expectations. Your expertise will help drive efficiency and innovation within our production environment.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and met.
- Design and Development: Participate in the design and engineering phases of manufacturing projects, assisting in the development of processes and systems. Utilize CAD software to create and modify product designs as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in quality control and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess product quality and manufacturing processes.
- Cost Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making recommendations for cost-saving measures where possible. Prepare reports on project costs and financial projections for management review.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the manufacturing process and develop action plans to mitigate them. Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, specifications, and progress reports. Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality assurance, and project management principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Experience with budget management and cost control (preferred).
- Project management certification (preferred).
