Job Title: Electrical Lineman
Job Location: Various locations across the UK, including urban and rural areas.
Job Type: Full-time/Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical power lines and systems.
- Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary equipment to locate and diagnose problems.
- Adhere to strict safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as power tools, measuring devices, and vehicles equipped with hydraulic lifts.
- Climb poles using belts
- Work in various environments and weather conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and remote areas.
- Collaborate with other utility workers and professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Communicate effectively with the public, colleagues, and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Completion of training in electrical linework.
- Relevant certifications, such as a climbing certification, lineman electrical training, and lineman health and safety training.
