Job Type: Full-time/Contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair overhead electrical power lines and systems.
  • Inspect and test power lines and auxiliary equipment to locate and diagnose problems.
  • Adhere to strict safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure public safety.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as power tools, measuring devices, and vehicles equipped with hydraulic lifts.
  • Climb poles using belts.
  • Work in various environments and weather conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and remote areas.
  • Collaborate with other utility workers and professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Read and interpret work orders, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with the public, colleagues, and supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of training in electrical linework.
  • Relevant certifications, such as a climbing certification, lineman electrical training, and lineman health and safety training.
